Easy Strawberry Recipes
Here are a few of my favorite strawberry recipes. There is something here for everyone so be sure to let me know which fresh strawberry recipes are your favorite!
1. Strawberry Icebox Cake
This fresh strawberry icebox cake is made with just three ingredients. All you need is sliced strawberries, Cool Whip and graham crackers. The ingredients are layered into a dish, then popped into the freezer to cool.
This is the perfect recipe to make in the summer, as it is very refreshing on a hot day. Strawberry icebox cake is a perfect way to use fresh strawberries and to serve a crowd!

2. Strawberry Cobbler
My strawberry cobbler really highlights the flavor of the fresh berries. It’s sweet and a little bit tangy thanks to the buttermilk in the cobbler batter. I like to serve the strawberry cobbler while it is still warm—add a scoop of vanilla ice cream as the perfect finishing touch.

3. No-Bake Strawberry Jello Pie
Everyone in my family loves this Jello pie. I make this recipe at least a few times in the summer and I have brought it to quite a few barbecues and summer parties. It’s always a big hit!
Fresh strawberries are mixed with strawberry Jello, amping up the flavor of the strawberries even more. Adding in Cool Whip gives the strawberry Jello pie a creamy whipped texture and helps lighten it up a little bit.

4. Strawberry Pie
While my no-bake jello pie is more creamy and fluffy, this strawberry pie is juicy and jiggly. My recipe will show you how to make your own homemade strawberry jello filling using fresh strawberries. The jiggly pie is served inside a freshly baked pie crust. The textures and flavors of this strawberry pie are so unique!

5. Easy Strawberry Cake
This pretty pink cake will be one of the best strawberry desserts you will ever make. It’s light, fluffy and super sweet. My recipe uses both fresh strawberries and strawberry Jello to brighten up a plain white cake mix. Even the frosting is made with fresh, crushed strawberries, giving the cake total strawberry flavor inside and out.

Quick Tip
When storing fresh strawberries, you actually don’t want to wash them. Strawberries will keep best when dry and chilled. When wet, the strawberries have more of a chance of growing mold or turning soggy. So, after you buy a pack of fresh berries in the grocery store, just put the container in the fridge until you are ready to use them.
6. Crockpot Strawberry Jam
If you have a lot of extra fresh strawberries, you absolutely must make strawberry jam. It’s one of the best ways to use strawberries and this recipe is very easy to make. The jam cooks in the crockpot so you barely have to do anything!
I like to put this strawberry jam on biscuits and serve it for breakfast. It is also perfect for PB&J sandwiches. You can even put a little bit on top of vanilla ice cream. Homemade strawberry jam has so many uses!

7. Strawberry Scones
Fresh strawberry scones are one of the best breakfast foods ever. I am definitely more motivated to get out of bed when I know strawberry scones await me in the kitchen! This recipe makes the best fruit scones I have ever had.
My strawberry scones are made with buttermilk, giving them a tangy taste to complement the sweet berries. The almond powdered sugar glaze is the perfect finishing touch. So pour yourself a cup of hot coffee, grab a fresh strawberry scone and get ready to have a great day!

8. Strawberry Bread
Just like strawberry scones make a great breakfast, so does strawberry bread. My strawberry bread is a little bit dense and it has juicy berries in every bite. I recommend doubling this recipe and freezing one loaf. Anytime you have a craving for strawberry baked goods, you can take it out and enjoy!

9. Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake
Everyone loves a good, classic strawberry shortcake! It’s often my go-to recipe when I have a lot of fresh strawberries. This recipe uses two whole pounds of fresh strawberries, so you know you will get plenty of berry filling.
I like to make homemade biscuits using Bisquick baking mix. It just makes the whole process a little bit easier and they taste simply perfect. A dessert of fresh strawberry shortcake sounds like the perfect way to end a hot summer night.

10. Strawberry Pancakes
Make these strawberry pancakes for a quick, tasty breakfast. The pancakes are fluffy and soft, which complements the soft texture of the berries. You can make these pancakes in under 10 minutes, so they are even doable on a busy school day morning. You can add syrup or whipped cream to the pancakes but they really don’t need it. That fresh strawberry taste is perfect on its own!

11. Mini Strawberry Rhubarb Pies
This fresh strawberry recipe is a little fancier than the others. Small, individually-sized pies are pretty impressive, but they do take a little bit of time to put together. However, once you bite into a perfect strawberry rhubarb pie, you will see that all your effort was worth it!
Strawberries and rhubarb are often combined as their flavors complement each other well. Rhubarb is bitter and tart while strawberries are sweet. Put the two together and you have an amazing dessert!
