Why you’ll love this no-bake strawberry jello pie recipe!

This No-Bake Strawberry Jello Pie is very similar to a classic strawberry pie, but the strawberry flavor is amped up by using strawberry Jello instead of unflavored.
Rather than baking the crust, you’ll use a store-bought graham cracker crust, and the topping is made with Cool Whip. So easy! (Or use a homemade pretzel crust for Strawberry Jello Pretzel Salad vibes.)
- No Baking Required: Perfect for hot summer days when you don’t want to heat up the kitchen.
- Easy to Make: Just a handful of simple ingredients and minimal prep work.
- Loaded with Strawberry Flavor: Fresh strawberries and strawberry gelatin create bold berry flavor in every bite.
- Perfect Make-Ahead Dessert: This pie chills beautifully and is ideal for parties, cookouts, and holidays.

Ingredient Notes

See recipe card below this post for ingredient quantities and full instructions.
- Fresh strawberries – Divided between the filling and garnish for fresh berry flavor.
- Strawberry gelatin – Adds color, flavor, and helps the pie set properly.
- Boiling water – Dissolves the gelatin completely.
- Ice cubes – Help cool and thicken the gelatin mixture quickly.
- Cold water – Combined with the ice to create the perfect gelatin consistency.
- Cool Whip – Creates a light, fluffy texture and helps stabilize the filling.
- Graham cracker crust – A ready-made crust keeps this recipe quick and easy.
Variations
- Use a chocolate cookie crust instead of graham cracker crust.
- Add fresh blueberries or raspberries along with the strawberries.
- Swap strawberry gelatin for raspberry gelatin.
- Top with homemade whipped cream just before serving.
- Add a layer of sliced bananas to the bottom of the crust before adding the filling.
How to Make Strawberry Jello Pie

- Mix the filling: Add the boiling water to the strawberry gelatin, and stir for 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Combine the ice cubes and cold water to equal 1 cup. Add this mixture to the gelatin, and stir until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice. Fold the Cool Whip into the gelatin mixture. Then stir in the chopped strawberries.

- Chill briefly: Refrigerate the mixture for 20 to 30 minutes or until it becomes very thick and mounds when spooned.

- Prepare the crust: Only if you’re not using store-bought.

- Fill the crust: Spoon the filling into the graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or until fully set. Top with additional Cool Whip and the reserved sliced strawberries just before serving.
Serving Suggestions
I recommend serving each slice with a dollop of whipped cream and a fresh strawberry on top. You can also use a combination of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries or add a sprig of fresh mint.
How to Store
Store this pie covered in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days, or freeze it for up to 3 months and thaw it in the fridge before serving.

Super easy to make , turns out great every time . Five Stars !!!!!!
can sugar free jello be used
I use sugar free jello to reduce the amount of sugar and calories. I have also made this with other jello flavors like lime.
Such a good idea! How did it turn out for you, Paula?
I will try this with gelatin sweetened with stevia. Can I also substitute an equal amount of real whipped cream for the Cool Whip?
Delish & super easy!! Will definitely be making this again!!
