About Kasey Schwartz, All Things Mamma

Welcome to All Things Mamma

Hi, I’m Kasey! I’m the founder, recipe developer, and on-camera face of All Things Mamma — the spot I’ve been building since 2009 for easy, family-friendly recipes made with simple, everyday ingredients.

I started this site for one reason: I wanted a place to share the kind of food my family actually eats. Not fussy, not complicated, not a list of ingredients you have to hunt down at three different stores. Just real food for real life — the dips, dump cakes, casseroles, and comfort-food classics that show up on our table week after week.

More than seventeen years later, hundreds of thousands of home cooks visit every month to find dinner ideas, holiday recipes, and desserts that work the first time and every time. If you’re here looking for something dependable to make tonight, you’re in exactly the right place.

Why Trust All Things Mamma?

Credibility: Published cookbook author and the founder, recipe developer, and on-camera talent behind every recipe on this site. I don’t outsource the cooking — I’m the one in the kitchen testing it.

As Seen In: TODAY, Better Homes & Gardens, BuzzFeed, Tasty, Mother Earth News, Woman’s Day, Parade, MSN, and more.

As Seen On TV: Featured on local morning shows including The Place and Good Day Marketplace, talking food, recipes, and the business behind the blog.

17+ Years of Experience: Over 1,000 published recipes, all developed and tested in a real family kitchen — not a test lab.

Family-Tested: If a recipe doesn’t work for busy weeknights and picky eaters, it doesn’t go on the site. Every recipe has to earn its place at our table first.

A Bit More About Me

My love of cooking started long before All Things Mamma ever existed.

Growing up, I spent countless hours in the kitchen with my mom, my grandmother, and my aunt — learning the recipes and traditions that still shape the way I cook today. My dad grew up working in his family’s restaurant, so simple, comforting food made with care was just in the air I breathed. Some of my earliest, happiest memories are standing on a stool next to someone I loved, stirring something on the stove.

Before this was my full-time job, I had a completely different career — I worked as an Executive Director for a Chamber of Commerce. I loved it, and looking back, it taught me everything I needed to run the business that All Things Mamma has become. But what I really wanted was to be home, cooking, and sharing recipes with other moms who were juggling exactly what I was juggling.

So in 2009, I started a little blog. It was a side project, a place to post the recipes my family loved and connect with a few other moms online. I had no idea what it would turn into. Fifteen-plus years later, it’s a full-time business, a cookbook, national press features, and a community of hundreds of thousands of home cooks every single month — and it still comes back to the same thing it started as: sharing food that brings people to the table.

I’ve come a long way from that first blog post, but the goal hasn’t changed one bit. I want to make cooking easier, less stressful, and a little more joyful for you — so dinner feels like something to look forward to instead of one more thing on the list.

Thank you for being here. I’m so glad you came.

Fun Facts About Me

⭐️My most popular recipe of all time is my homemade waffles — thousands of families make them every single week, and that makes me so happy.

⭐️ Dips are my hands-down favorite thing to make. If there’s a party, I’m bringing the dip. Every time.

⭐️ I co-own a retail shop with my sister — a bakery, refillery, and natural pantry-goods store — where we get to bring food, home, and clean living together in real life, not just online.

⭐️ I have never met a dump cake I didn’t like. This is a personal weakness and I’ve made peace with it.

Beyond the Blog

Outside of All Things Mamma, I’m building a growing retail and lifestyle brand alongside my sister — combining food, home, and clean living into a thoughtfully curated shopping experience at ApotheKari Market in Carlinville, IL. It’s the same heart as the blog, just in a place you can walk into.

I also share recipes, kitchen tips, and everyday inspiration across social media and my email community every week — all aimed at one simple thing: helping families gather around the table, one meal at a time.
