Ingredients:

See recipe card below this post for ingredient quantities and full instructions.

  • Canned Chicken – I know! It sounds crazy but it’s good! You could substitute with whole chicken breasts shredded. I would guess that 2 chicken breasts would be perfect!
  • Low-Fat Cheddar Cheese – I like the sharp shredded cheese kind!
  • 1/3 less fat Cream Cheese – You’ll never be able to tell it’s low fat. Promise! I love using low fat cream cheese!
  • Lite Ranch Salad Dressing – Yep. I said RANCH. I think cools down the hot sauce in this spicy appetizer dip. Blue Cheese Dressing could be substituted if you must.
  • Frank’s Buffalo Hot Sauce – I like Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce the best. I don’t recommend substituting. I have. It didn’t turn out as well.
  • Blue Cheese Crumbles – I don’t have this on my dip BUT it’s a hit for a lot of people. Try it out!

Variations & Substitutions

  • Shredded chicken breast – If you have leftover chicken or want to cook up chicken in a baking dish and shred it, you totally can!
  • Mozzarella cheese – I’m a fan of adding a bit more cheese on top sometimes!
