I always have canned pumpkin on hand this time of year because it makes cozy fall baking so easy. Here are all of my easy pumpkin recipes in one place — all 33 of them. You’ll find my two most popular, the Cake Mix Pumpkin Roll and the Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes. There’s also a Pumpkin Dump Cake that’s just mix, dump, and bake, and plenty of breads, breakfasts, and a few savory ones too.

A Note From Kasey

I’ve been sharing easy family recipes here since 2009, and pumpkin has been part of fall on All Things Mamma for a long time — some of these recipes go back more than ten years. This is all of them in one place, sorted by type so you can jump right to whatever you’re craving.
The one you all have rated the most is my Pumpkin Dump Cake — more than 130 of you have rated it, and it sits at 4.5 stars. The two that get found the most every fall are the Cake Mix Pumpkin Roll and the Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes. And you’ll notice a lot of these lean on my favorite shortcut: a box of cake mix!
- ✅ Start here if you are new: the Pumpkin Dump Cake and the Cake Mix Pumpkin Roll. One is mix, dump, and bake, and the other looks fancy but starts with cake mix.
- ✅ Short on oven space on Thanksgiving? The No Bake Pumpkin Pie (4.8 stars) and the No-Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake Cups don’t need the oven at all.
- ✅ Just need to use up a can? The Easy Pumpkin Bread is a one-bowl recipe, and the Two-Ingredient Pumpkin Spice Muffins need only two ingredients.

Canned Pumpkin Tips
- Puree vs. pie filling: Pumpkin puree is just cooked pumpkin. Canned pie filling already has sugar and spices added, so double-check which one your recipe calls for.
- Out of pumpkin? My pumpkin puree substitutes will get you through.
- Out of the spice blend? Mix up my homemade pumpkin pie spice with spices you probably already have.
- Leftover pumpkin from an open can: Store it in an airtight container in the fridge and use it within about a week, or freeze it for your next batch.
