Ingredients for Christmas M&M Cookies
- Butter – Use unsalted butter for baking.
- Flour – All-purpose flour is the best! If needed a 1:1 gluten-free all-purpose flour can be substitued.
- White sugar
- Brown sugar
- Large Eggs
- Vanilla extract
- Baking soda – This is what gives the cookies that fluffy texture.
- Salt
- Red & green M&M’s – You can find Christmas M&M’s in any grocery store around the holidays. One large bag has about 1 1/2 cups of M&M’s which is enough for a batch of Christmas cookies and a few left over for a snack.
- Chocolate chips – You can’t go wrong with extra chocolate chips in cookies! I like to use semi-sweet chocolate chips but any kind will work.
How To Make Christmas M&M Cookies
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet, and set it aside.
- Whisk the dry ingredients: Combine the flour, baking soda, salt in a small bowl.
- Mix the wet ingredients: Beat the butter, sugars, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, scraping down the sides in between.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients: Slowly add the dry ingredients to the bowl of wet ingredients, beating just until combined. Then, gently fold in the M&Ms and chocolate chips.
- Portion: Use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to portion the cookie dough, rolling it into balls. Place the cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little bit of space in between each piece.
- Bake: Transfer the cookies to the preheated oven, and bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until they’re puffy and the edges are golden brown.
- Cool: Allow the Chirstmas M&M Cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Delicious and good. I just ate 3 with coffee. I will definitely make again. I used chocolate chunks instead of the chips
