One of my favorite memories is going to the mall with mom when I was little. I loved seeing the Hillshire Farms lady giving out samples by the store entrance. So fun!
But now, you can buy their sausages in the grocery store! I picked up all the ingredients for this meal at Target AND I had a Cartwheel offer for Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage for 20% OFF! Anytime I can get a deal on a meal – I’m excited!

Here’s how to make it!
(full recipe is below)
Smoked Sausage – If you have Hillshire Farm at your store, this is my favorite!
Broccoli Florets – Cut broccoli into small bite size pieces. They’ll also cook faster.
Seasonings – This takes the flavor up a notch.
Instant Rice – You want to rice to cook fairly quickly so instant is best.
Shredded Cheddar Cheese – this is optional. But it gives amazing flavor!
How To Make This Recipe:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and olive oil until melted. Add the sliced smoked sausage and cook for about 5 minutes until sausage begins to brown.
Add the broccoli and cover. Reduce heat to low and cook about 5 minutes more – stirring occasionally.
Add the cooked rice, garlic powder and onion salt to the skillet. Stir well.
