2010 proved to be a year of ups and downs for me. There were more trials and tribulations in my personal life, health and family than there has been in a very long time. As the year went along…it got better, tho. For the most part, there were some VERY good moments and fun times during the year. The holidays were some of the best in my life! I’m looking forward to 2011 and all that it’s going to bring. I have a GREAT feeling!

Here’s a look back at some of the highlights of my year in blogging. Enjoy!!

In January, we welcomed a New Year and a new outlook on life. I blogged about making my New Year’s resolution to focus on Quality of Life NOT Quantity,ย  Ella turned 4 years old with a Princess Tea Party and I made a surprise visit to my sister in Ohio for her 16th Birthday. Oh, how much fun that was!

February brought snow, snow and more snow! I shared my favorite recipe for Salmon and Ella and her daddy shared a “Daddy & Me” breakfast at school.

In March, we started to see some hope that Spring would be here before long, I vlogged about Discount Club Stores and if they were worth it and even my husband sent a little hello to the blog world when we were able to get outside for a bit.

April brought warmer temperatures and we were able to get outside for more outings, share some green tips and visit the Apple Barn in Chatham – one of our favorite places to go locally!

In May, Mother’s Day had a very special meaning to me this year. Love was abundant and apparent in my life. I was truly thankful!

June was a fun time! Summer had come which meant planning vacations, the farmer’s market, swimming lessons and Andrew’s 2nd Birthday! Father’s day was also in June and I wrote one of my most meaningful posts to me that day.

In July, we went on our first family vacation to the Ozarks and organized a playroom makeover. That is probably my most popular post to date. Check it out if you haven’t. It was a fun room to makeover! I also shared my favorite snacks for a busy mom on the go.

August came way too quickly! I made peach cobbler with fresh from the market peaches, lemon cream cheese pie and the heat died down a little. We were getting gearing up to say good-bye to Summer.

In September, School started, I organized our entry way to be more efficient and fall was all around us. Andrew and Ella also visited their 1st Football game and haven’t looked back! I also shared my tips for Living with the Things You Love and how important that is in all of our homes.

October brought more Fall Fun, Princess Dress-up Day at school and lots of yummy recipes and we played in huge leaf piles. In home, I talked about using Unique Pieces to make your house a home.

November there were lots of giveaways and reviews to gear up for Christmas, “H” week at preschool, Thanksgiving, Red Velvet Cupcakes and Sweet Potato Casserole. Yum!

In December, I shared lots of recipes – one of my most favorite things to do is to bake! We had Easy Cake Pops, Old-Fashioned Toffee, Chocolate Mint Truffles and I had a cookie party. We also had Christmas and our first big snow on Christmas Eve. It was a very good ending to the year.

It is now January 1st, 2011 and I’m looking forward to the New Year!

I’ll share my goals for 2011 in the coming days, but for today…I’m reflecting on the blessings God has given me and sharing the day with my family.

Thank you, my friends for sharing in this blog on a daily basis and for sharing your thoughts with me. I am truly thankful!

Love to you all!

Happy New Year!
