Merry Christmas everyone!
We had a wonderful at-home Christmas Eve and Christmas day. We played games, opened gifts, lounged around in our pajamas and ate lots of sweets all day long! I may even venture to say it was the best Christmas yet!
Ella really “got” what Christmas was all about and Andrew was so excited because he didn’t remember last year. I was so proud of them both! They were grateful and very kind the entire day. One moment in particular that I was proud of my Ella, is when we all came down to see what Santa had left and once the initial shock was over, she ran back upstairs to grab her gifts she had wrapped herself for her family. Such a sweet girl!
It was a very white Christmas at our house. The world seemed to just stop for a day. It was quiet on our street and couldn’t be more peaceful sounding outside.
It was a good day.
Luke 2:9-12
And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. And the angel said to them, โFear not, for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.โ
Luke 2:13-14
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, โGlory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!โ โGlory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!โ
Merry Christmas to you all! I hope you had a blessed day!
