Quick Tip
To make sure that the cake is fully baked, insert a clean toothpick into the center of the cake. If it comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs, the cake is done baking and is ready to cool.
How to Store Dump Cake
Store leftovers covered with plastic wrap or transferred to an airtight container. They will stay fresh in the fridge for 3-4 days.
FAQs
Because it’s as simple as dumping the ingredients in a pan and baking!
If you overbake the cake, it’s going to be dry and crumbly. Also, if you don’t let the cake cool completely and try to slice it too early, the cake is going to break apart and crumble.
Technically, you can. But I also think that cake tends to be dry in texture once it is frozen and thawed. I think that this cake is best served fresh!
