These Oreo brownies are one of my favorite ways to upgrade a boxed brownie mix! You get rich, fudgy chocolate brownies layered with crunchy Oreo cookies in every bite — and they couldn’t be easier to make.

This recipe is super easy to follow and will result in some of the most delicious brownies you’ve ever had. There’s no measuring flour, baking powder, or sugar, because you use boxed brownie mix to make them!

I love them all, but if you’re looking for the easiest way to upgrade a box of brownie mix, I think Oreo Brownies are the winner.

You’ll just need a handful of ingredients for this recipe!

- Boxed fudge brownie mix – Use whichever one you like best!
- Vegetable oil, water, and eggs – In other words, all the ingredients you need to add to the brownie mix.
- Oreo cookies – These should be roughly chopped so they add a nice texture to the brownies. You don’t want to add crumbs here! (Use the leftovers to make Cookies and Cream Cookies!)
How to Make Brownie Mix With Oreos

- Combine ingredients: Add the brownie mix, oil, eggs, and water to a mixing bowl.

- Mix: Whisk to combine.

- Assemble: Pour half of the brownie batter into the baking dish, then sprinkle half of the chopped Oreo cookies on top. Add the rest of the brownie batter, followed by the remaining Oreos.

- Bake: Bake the brownies for 25 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting and serving.

How to Store
- At room temperature: Store in an airtight container for 3–4 days.
- To freeze: Wrap tightly and freeze up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.

Oreo Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 box fudge brownie mix
- ⅔ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup water
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups Oreo cookies roughly chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease the bottom of a 8×8 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the boxed brownie mix, oil, water, and eggs until well combined.1 box fudge brownie mix, ⅔ cup vegetable oil, ¼ cup water, 2 large eggs
- Pour ½ the batter into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle half of the chopped Oreo cookies on top.1 ½ cups Oreo cookies
- Top with remaining brownie batter and top with the rest of the Oreos.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean. Cool completely.

- Use a metal pan for more even baking.
