Burgers topped with Sharp Cheddar or American Cheese

YUM! The All-American Burger is stacked high with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and a delicious sauce everyone loves! Worcestershire sauce and Dijon are the secret ingredients, but I love switching things up with French Fry Dipping Sauce.

Serve with lettuce, tomato, and classic buns—and don’t forget the Easy Air Fryer French Fries! I’m all about old-fashioned food that gives fresh tastes and flavors.

If you can pair this burger up with some hand cut fries, you’re set for a true treat of a dinner!

How to Make All American Cheeseburgers

Step One: Preheat

Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium (300°F-350°F). For the sauce, in a small bowl combine mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, 1/2 teaspoon of the mustard, plus chipotle powder. Set aside.

Step Two: Mix ingredients

In a medium bowl combine ground beef, remaining 2 teaspoons mustard, Worcestershire, and salt and pepper to taste; mix well. Form into 4 patties about 1/2-inch thick.

Step Three: Grill the burgers

Grill, covered, 4-5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. During the last 2 minutes of grilling, top each patty with 1 cheese slice; grill until melted. Remove from grill.

Step Four: Add toppings

Place buns, cut side down, on grill. Grill until lightly toasted. Spread sauce on cut sides of buns. Place burgers in buns, top with lettuce and tomato, and serve.

Absolutely delicious burger! Simple ingredients make for a very tasty burger. I didn’t make the sauce because I couldn’t find chipotle chili powder anywhere! If I ever see it I’ll grab it. In it’s place, I used chipotle aioli. Kraft makes it, you can find it near the mayo. It was an awesome substitution! The aioli gave it a nice kick and we all loved it! I have found a new favorite burger!
