- Scrambled egg โ Use my fluffy scrambled egg recipe.
- Kosher salt
- Black pepper

- Layer sliced tomatoes onto the sandwich to up the veggie factor.
- Stir your favorite hot sauce into the scrambled eggs to give them a kick.

How to Make a Scrambled Egg Sandwich
- Prepare the bread: Spread a tablespoon of the butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Scramble the egg: Follow our scrambled egg recipe or prepare your own favorite scrambled egg recipe. Transfer the cooked eggs to a bowl.
- Assemble the sandwich: In the same skillet used to cook the egg, add one of the slices of bread with the butter side down. Sprinkle the cheese over the top, then carefully add the eggs over the cheese, followed by the arugula. Top with the remaining slice of bread, with the buttered side facing out.
- Cook: Toast the sandwich until the bread is golden brown and crispy, about 3 to 4 minutes. Carefully flip and toast the other side for another 3 minutes.
- Serve: Transfer the cooked sandwich to a plate, cut in half, and serve.
Quick Tip
Make sure the cheese completely covers the bottom of the bread. This will help the scrambled eggs stick.
