We just got back from vacation and I really got used to having dessert with every meal. I need a good sugar detox. But, today’s not that day because I made the most perfect Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies that I just had to share with you!

OH YEAH! These cookies are soooooo good! I have tried several recipes, like here and here. But, I think I have to say that THIS recipe is my favorite so far! They’re so soft and chewy and have a really good flavor that goes together perfectly. Nothing over powers. You know how some cookies taste like you’re biting into brown sugar or salt? Well, this isn’t that cookie. They’re perfect. Really. AND I found them on All Recipes! YES! This is a user submitted recipe that has a TON of reviews. I read through a bunch of reviews before making these chocolate chip cookies and decided to make them just like the recipe stated except with two small changes – I added more vanilla and I didn’t add walnuts.

Martha Stewart Cookie Sheet

I’ve have found that it is really worth it to get a good cookie sheet. Cheap ones just don’t do a good job and you’ll be really frustrated with baking. The one I use the most is my Martha Stewart 18×13 commercial baking sheet from Macy’s. For just $12.99 you can get a good quality pan that will last and give you great results.

Pampered Chef Medium Scoop

I also love my Pampered Chef medium scoop to make uniform cookies in size. This is a great tip for getting cookies all to cook at the same rate. Remember to NOT over bake them, which is easy to do. You want the outer edges to be just a tad bit brown when you you get them out of the oven. I like to keep them on the cookie sheet until they are mostly cool before removing them to a wire rack to cool. Then they will cook just a little more in the center until they are perfect! You can keep them for a couple of days in a sealed container – if they last that long! They don’t at our house! You’re gonna love these Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies! I promise!
