Why you’ll love making air fried eggs!

I don’t know about you, but I love to make weekend breakfast spreads for my family. I kick things off with a skillet of bacon and a griddle full of fluffy buttermilk pancakes. However, this doesn’t leave me with much room for a pan of eggs.

And that, my friends, is why cooking eggs in the air fryer is genius.

It also makes perfect eggs! This is going to be your new favorite way to make eggs, I promise.

I’m sharing not just one, not even two, but three easy egg recipes in the air fryer, including hard-cooked eggs, soft-cooked eggs, and fried eggs.

  • Fast & easy: Breakfast is ready in minutes with no stove-watching.

  • Customizable. Cook eggs exactly how your family likes them. No complaints!
  • Perfect for busy mornings. Great for school days, workdays, or meal prep.

Method 2: Soft Boiled

  • Preheat an air fryer to 275 F for 5 minutes.
  • Arrange 4 eggs evenly along the air fryer basket, then cook for 10 to 11 minutes.
  • While the eggs cook, set up a bowl of ice water. Once the eggs are done baking, immediately place them into the ice bath. Let cool completely before peeling.

Method 3: Fried

  • Preheat an air fryer to 350 F for 5 minutes.
  • Coat a baking pan small enough to fit in the air fryer with nonstick cooking spray.
    Nonstick cooking spray
  • Crack two eggs into the bottom of the pan, keeping them spread apart as much as possible. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake for 3 to 4 minutes until the yolks are the desired consistency, less time for over easy, more time for over medium or over hard.

Notes

  • Leave space: Don’t overfill the air fryer basket. The air needs to circulate all around the eggs to cook them evenly. If you overcrowd the basket, the air won’t flow correctly, meaning your eggs won’t cook!
  • Adjust the time as needed: Note that the cooking times will vary depending on how you’re cooking your eggs, how many eggs you’re making, and your air fryer. So, be sure to keep a close eye on the eggs as they cook!
