Halloween is just around the corner so you may be looking for a few spooky treats that would make great Halloween dishes. Pillsbury always has some wonderful inspiration on their site and they’re always tried and true recipes. I recently had the opportunity to speak with one of their experts, Madison Mayberry and it’s amazing the work that goes into bringing you a wonderful dish to re-create in your home!
Pillsbury has their own test kitchen where over 1,100 recipes are created a year! The recipes are tested AND rewritten 3-4 times before then being tested by a variety of people – chefs, staff, photographers, bloggers – before being published for you and I to take on at home. Most of Pillsbury’s recipes include 5-7 ingredients and only 30 minutes to prepare so that busy families can spend their time around the dinner table and not at the stove. They create a lot of versatile products that can be used in a variety of ways. Take their delicious and famous Crescent Rolls. They can be used in recipes for appetizers, meals, side dishes and even desserts and they always turn out great!
The Pillsbury website is one of my go-to sites for recipes for my family. I know that if I need a delicious dish, I’ll find it there! Most of the time, I have the ingredients in my kitchen already! No hard to find stuff you’ve never heard of! This Halloween, I’m taking some of their ideas and making a spooky meal that the kids are sure to love! The recipes are creepy and creative but easy to follow, require few ingredients, and are great for serving at Halloween parties or fueling my little ghosts and ghouls before they head out for a night of trick-or-treating.
