- ¼ teaspoon salt

- ½ cup flour
- 2 eggs whisked
- Ritz crackers 1 sleeve
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 chicken breasts boneless, skinless, cut in half horizontally
- ½ cup butter cubed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375ºF.

- Whisk the eggs and add to a different bowl.2 eggs

- Dip the chicken breast into the flour and be sure to coat completely. Once done, dip them into the egg mixture and then the cracker crumbs.2 chicken breasts
- Place the coated chicken into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Add the cubed butter around the chicken.½ cup butter
- Cover the recipe with foil and put it in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes. Take off the foil, flip the chicken, and then cover again. Bake for another 15 minutes. Take off the foil, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

- Choose other crackers wisely. You can absolutely swap the Ritz crackers for something else, but I’d say try to stick with something similarly flaky for the best texture. Clubhouse crackers, for example, would also work well.
- Monitor the temperature. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and is safe to eat, without being overcooked. It’s the best way to know when your chicken is done!
- Use both coarse and large cracker crumbs. The smaller crumbs will provide an even, crispy coating, while the bigger crumbs will give you a satisfying crunch!
