It’s a good idea to help the small spaces in your home smell like fresh flowers or seasonal scents. The good news? You can toss out those air wick air freshener plug ins and use homemade air fresheners instead. Natural air fresheners are so much better!
This version uses Lavender and Lemon Essential Oils that can purify the air, remove odors and provide a spa-like relaxing scent. It’s my favorite everyday combination to go-to for providing an inviting atmosphere that smells clean and doesn’t overpower like commercial air fresheners are known to do!
I like to use small glass spray bottles for this spray so that I can keep one bottle in each area of the home I’d like to freshen up! I have one in the downstairs bathroom, one in the upstairs linen closet and one in my bedroom to spritz my room before going to bed at night.
The lavender and lemon scent is a pleasant smell that most anyone will like!

Tips for Getting Rid of Unpleasant Orders
Another way to use this spray is to keep the spray in a larger bottle that you keep under your kitchen sink that can be used as you walk through your house spraying as you go.
You can freshen and remove odors from each room knowing that you haven’t added harmful chemicals into the air that your family will be breathing in. That’s a great feeling to have!

You bet! Do what you need to do to help with your sense of smell. You can also change up the scents in the living room or get rid of bathroom smells fast. Smaller spaces are the perfect place to change up the smells to get a clean-smelling house.

Bamboo sticks are great if you have a reed diffuser. They’re made of natural materials and work great for large rooms.
Note: Using pure essential oils from a quality company is very important when using essential oils. Making sure you are using an oil that doesn’t contain any added fillers or ingredients is important for the purity of the oil you’ll be using.

Undiluted essential oils should never be stored in plastic bottles, as they will break down the plastic causing leaking. However, if it’s a recipe such as this one that has added ingredients, a high-quality plastic bottle is fine to use.
