DIY Spa Fresh Room Air Freshener Spray
Freshen kids’ spaces, the bathroom, bedroom and even the kitchen with this all-natural room deodorizer that can even be personalized with your favorite essential oils!
This version uses Lavender and Lemon Essential Oils that can purify the air, remove odors and provide a spa-like relaxing scent. It’s my favorite every-day combination to go-to for providing an inviting atmosphere that smells clean and doesn’t overpower like commercial air fresheners are known to do!
I like to use small glass spray bottles for this spray so that I can keep one bottle in each area of the home I’d like to freshen up! I have one in the downstairs bathroom, one in the upstairs linen closet and one in my bedroom to spritz my room before going to bed at night.
The lavender and lemon scent is a pleasant smell that most anyone will like!
Another way to use this spray is to keep the spray in a larger bottle that you keep under your kitchen sink that can be used as you walk through your house spraying as you go.
You can freshen and remove odors from each room knowing that you haven’t added harmful chemicals into the air that your family will be breathing in. That’s a great feeling to have!
Note: Using pure essential oils from a quality company is very important when using essential oils. Making sure you are using an oil that doesn’t contain any added fillers or ingredients is important for the purity of the oil you’ll be using.

You can make this Spa Fresh Room Freshener Spray in a glass or plastic bottle.
Undiluted essential oils should never be stored in plastic bottles, as they will break down the plastic causing leaking. However, if it’s a recipe such as this one that has added ingredients, a high-quality plastic bottle is fine to use.
