Invite everyone over to create the best game day spread with all the yummiest tailgating foods and save time in the kitchen! I’ll show you how to create an entire buffet full of tantalizing tailgating foods in just minutes, that everyone will love!

In fact, with my tips, you can have the entire menu fully cooked in less time than takeout. And it tastes better too!

A Winning Game Day Spread

What are you and your family’s favorite football foods? Around here, we love dips and meats! Chicken with tangy sauce, sausages, and corndogs. There are so many other tailgating foods we love. Almost all of them have some sort of dip though. Honestly, if there is a way to save time in the kitchen (and keep money in your pocket) do it! I love being able to set out the food and then relax with my family while everyone devours it.

Need some inspiration for your next football party? Here’s what I put on my buffet, and everyone loved it.

  • Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips
  • Tyson® Any’tizers® Popcorn Chicken
  • Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage Links
  • Hillshire Farm® Lit’l Smokies® Smoked Sausage
  • State Fair® Corn Dogs

Chicken Strips and Popcorn Chicken are a cinch to prepare. Then, all you have to do is whip up some spicy or tangy dip and everyone is happy.

The Best Dipping Sauces

I like to keep things easy so I prepared the Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips, Tyson® Any’tizers® Popcorn Chicken, Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage products, and State Fair® Corn Dogs and set them out. Then, I put bowls of my dipping sauces in the middle and let everyone pick their favorites.

I chose dipping sauces that go with any type of meats. They range from spicy to sweet. People can walk by, grab a Chicken Strip, dunk them in the sauce and keep talking.

Your buffet becomes the center of attention! Keep your dips easy by using store-bought or make your own! Here are my favorite dipping sauces to set out:

  • Chipotle Ranch
  • Ranch
  • Barbeque

3-Ingredient Cocktail Smokies

For a quick and easy recipe that goes right on the buffet, make these 3-Ingredient Cocktail Smokies in no time! Keep them warm in a slow cooker all day long!

These are insanely easy to make, and everyone loves them. I personally just throw all the ingredients in the slow cooker, set it to low, and then let it warm up until party time!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grape jelly
  • 1 cup mustard
  • 2 packages  Hillshire Farm® Lit’l Smokies® Smoked Sausage

Directions:

1.Add grape jelly and mustard to a 1-2 quart slow cooker.

2.Stir well.

3.Add smoked sausages to the slow cooker.

4.Cook on high for 1 hour or low for 2-3 hours.

Not even kidding! It really does go together. The jelly sweetens it and the mustard adds the perfect amount of tang.

Make Foods Easy To Grab & Go!

One of my best game-day food tips is to make the food easy to pick up. So, I cut up the sausage and put toothpicks in each slice. That’s another reason I love the Corn Dogs too. They are so easy to snack on, the perfect finger foods. The only foods I made that aren’t finger foods are the Lit’l Smokies®. But that sweet and tangy sauce is worth it, and you can use a toothpick to grab and go!
