Summer meals are some of my favorite meals of the year. I love light meals of yogurt and fresh fruit for breakfast, homegrown salads and sparkling water for lunch, and sandwiches for dinner. It’s a great time to lighten up from the hearty meals of winter. With the kids home, that means I’m making several meals and snacks each day for all of us. They always want something fun to eat and I like to give it to them. Like this Fresh Berry and Coconut Granola Yogurt Parfait.

Yogurt  doesn’t have to be just for breakfast. We like it anytime of the day for a wholesome snack that fills you up and is good for you!

I personally like to use whole fat yogurt to feed my family. I think it’s more filling and good for you! But there are some times I want a special treat with unique flavors and Yoplait has a great selection to chose from!

With so many flavors from original and light yogurts to the new greek varieties – there’s bound to be one for every member of your family! Change up your parfaits for a snack with a different flavor of yogurt and a homemade granola. Instead of vanilla – try coconut and blueberry topped with almonds and chocolate chips? YUM! There’s really so many combinations you could try. Give your kids a chance to mix up their own parfaits – they’ll love it!
