Bacon BBQ Pork Sliders

First – Pick up Smithfield’s Marinated Fresh Pork at your local store. I picked up mine at Kroger. Cook it in the oven according to the directions – entire recipes should be ready in 30 minutes or less!

Once it’s done, slice the Smithfield’s Marinated Fresh Pork thinly and place on Honey Wheat Dinner rolls that have been sliced and placed in a 9×13 pan.

Add 1/4 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce right on top of the pork and top with thinly sliced purple onions.

Place the tops of the buns back on and brush with melted butter.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes – or until the tops are toasty brown. YUM!

Bacon BBQ Pork Sliders

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients  

  • 12 pack of dinner rolls
  • 1 Smithfield Marinated Applewood Smoked Bacon Pork Loin Filet, cooked
  • ½ red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • coleslaw - optional

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Slice the rolls in half lengthwise.
  • Place the bottom half on a 9×13 baking tray.
  • Spread the cooked, sliced pork evenly on the rolls, followed by the BBQ sauce and the red onion
  • Place the remaining half of the rolls on top.
  • Brush with melted butter.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Slice, then serve!
  • Top with coleslaw if desired
