“We will sing, sing, sing
And make music with the heavens
We will sing, sing, sing
Grateful that You hear us
When we shout your praise
Lift high the name of Jesus”
We had an awesome and busy weekend this past weekend! I’m still recovering!
Friday night, Brian and I spent the evening out seeing Chris Tomlin in concert with Louie Giglio as the speaker. If you haven’t checked out either of these amazing men, I suggest you do so! The music was uplifting, the message – convicting. There’s just something about 5,000 people singing together and praising God that will move you, no matter who you are!
Saturday was the Annual Mother’s Tea at Ella’s preschool. This year, Andrew joined us since he was a little bigger and I didn’t have to worry about him sitting still through the program and brunch. He actually participated in the program and hoped right up on stage and sang his little heart out with the preschoolers. It was so special! Ella and Andrew, both, looked so big!
I made lots and lots of cupcakes this weekend to share with my church family. I feel so blessed to be able to create such a yummy treats to share with all those that I love. It brings me such joy to be able to do something I love so!
Now, it’s Monday and time to get started on that huge never-ending to-do list! Happy Monday!
Oh wow, Chris Tomlin? SWEET!! Talk about uplifting and spiritually energizing! I bet that was a breathtaking concert experience. He is amazingly talented.
What fun that tea must have been for you! I cannot wait to go to a tea party with my daughter. I don’t know if her preschool will have one, but I don’t see why not!
It was a great weekend! I am so blessed to have you to share with! Thanks for a wonderful time!
Sounds like a wonderful and memory packed weekend. What kind of cupcakes are in the picture?
It’s a Chocolate Cupcake with Peanut Butter Frosting! Mmmmmm!!!
