Prep Clothes For Washing
-Sort clothes by color and type of material. To keep clothes from getting dingy and worn out too quickly, keep lights with lights, darks with darks. Also, keep cotton material with cotton and denim with denim.
-Remove buckles if possible, zip zippers, close snaps and hooks, and secure velcro to prevent snags.
-Empty pockets and turn them inside out. Unroll cuffs and tie strings or ribbons to prevent tangling.
-Turn delicate items inside out to prevent piling and snagging – sweaters, and cotton T-shirts, too!
-Place delicate items like lingerie and fine knitwear in zippered mesh bags.
-Treat stains before washing, and always make sure stains have been removed before putting items in the dryer. The heat can set stains into fabric making it more difficult to remove.
Wash Clothes with a Quality Regimen of Products

-Use hot water for white loads, warm water for the average load, and cold water for bright colors.

Dry
