Equipment

Ingredients  

  • 1 21 ounce can strawberry pie filling
  • 1 8 ounce block cream cheese softened and cubed
  • 1 15.25 ounce box yellow or white cake mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • Optional for topping: fresh strawberries, whipped cream, powdered sugar

Instructions 

  • Gather your ingredients together then preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  • Dot the cubed cream cheese across the top of the pie filling.
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over everything—do not stir.
  • Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh strawberries and whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • Best served warm, but it’s delicious chilled too!
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Variations
