African Violet

Isn’t it amazing how one thing can bring back a flood of memories?

This one little African Violet reminds me of my Grandmother. She used to always have one in her kitchen window when I was younger.

We would water it in the morning together and watch how it bloomed together.

I miss her. She would have been 94 yesterday.

I thank God for the warm feelings special memories hold.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the picture was my grandma. She too had violets in her kitchen ๐Ÿ™‚ I also get fond memories of her when I see a cactus or an owl figurine. Her house was full of them. Thanks for bringin’ back fond memories of my gramma ๐Ÿ™‚
