We love eggs.
We go through at least a dozen a week, just for breakfast.
We recently made a new friend that raises free range chickens on their farm. Take a look at how beautiful!
Look really close….
Each one is a different size, with different colors and little specks on it. Not like those ones you buy at the store that are all exactly alike with shells that take a good crack on the side of the bowl to open.
Not these eggs. They are delicate and unique. With a beautiful, golden yellow yolk with a rich taste.
We make scrambled & hard boiled eggs and omelets each week. I love that my kids love eggs. They are so good for you and give you a great start to your day.
I am a self-proclaimed egg connoisseur. I like my eggs just right. No brown rubber for me, thank you very much.
If you haven’t tried farm fresh eggs, I suggest you do so right away! You won’t want to go back to store bought…ever again. I’m sure if you ask around, you probably know someone that raises chickens. And, right now is the perfect time of year to visit your local Farmer’s Market and support your community.
We tried eggs from the farmer’s market for the first time recently and could definitely tell a difference! They cost more, but I think it’s well worth it.

You’re right, Christi – they are definitely worth the extra $.50 or $1 to have something so good!
We love eggs too! And get them often at our Farmer’s Market because they really are so much better!

Good for you! They really are better and better for YOU! No stuff sprayed on them or IN them!
Oh I know. BTW that omelet looks so yummy!

I used to have chickens and we would get green and brown eggs all the time! I love fresh eggs nothing better!

They come in such pretty colors! Last week, my carton was like a rainbow of neutral colors!
Thanks for coming by, Brittany!
We LOVE eggs. We buy the 5-dozen box at Walmart normally. I make nearly a dozen for breakfast EVERY morning LOL Then of course, any time I make anything tomato-based, my husband likes deviled eggs with it… lasagna, spaghetti, etc.
I honestly have never thought about getting farm fresh eggs; didn’t really ever dawn on me that it would be any different. We live in a rural-ish area so I’m positive I can find them pretty much anywhere around here. I will have to ask around. ๐ Thanks for the heads up!

Hi Kat! Yes, make sure to see if someone around there sells eggs. I promise you’ll be so happy you did – especially since you eat so many of them!
