I’m looking forward to Spring.

Yes, I know that the calendar says that Spring is here…but I’m not sure that Mother Nature got the memo. With all the cold weather, rain and tornadoes, it sure doesn’t feel like Spring.

I needed a boost in my mood today, so I headed to a local greenhouse while the sun was out. I also took along my camera so that I could share a little Spring with you all!

I love blue Hydrangeas. They are so beautiful and old-fashioned.

Here’s one in pink. Just as pretty. Did you know that a change in the pH in soil cause either the pink or blue color?

Double Inpatients are another of my favorites. They look like tiny roses but bloom from Spring until Fall. They don’t need much attention and can grow in partial sun. Hanging baskets bursting with these beauty’s adorn my porch every year.

I love this! It’s a ceramic hanging vase with flowers growing out of the bottom. What a unique idea! I may have to try this one out!

Can you tell what kinds and colors of flowers I’m attracted to? I love  the palest pinks, purples and blues in the garden. I love the simple, cottage look in and around my house. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Tomorrow is supposed to be nicer than today and I’m hoping the next day is even better. I can’t wait to get out in the yard and plant away. Hopefully, I’ll be getting a brand new potted plant for Mother’s Day this year to get me started. (hint, hint, babe!)

How’s the weather where you are? I’d love to see your garden photos if you’ve started. Be sure to leave a link in the comment section below!
