Birthdays are a big deal around my house. With 3 kids, I’ve always loved celebrating them each year. From homemade parties of pajama parties, super hero bounce house parties and tea parties, to pink ruffle parties and even the park, we love a good birthday party.
This year my oldest, Ella, turned 10 years old! WOW! I can hardly believe it! You’ll have to check out all of Ella’s birthday parties I’ve blogged about – good photos and bad! haha! This year we did a super fun party at JoAnn Fabrics with her besties. We made chevron shirts with t-shirt paint and decorated cupcakes, played games and ended with a parade around the store to show off their creations. It was so fun!
Making Memories with #MySweetStory and M&M’s
But, being the hand-made mamma that I am, I had to put my own personalized touch on her party! So, I picked up a pretty teal tablecloth, balloons, chevron plates and napkins AND these adorable personalized M&M’s from MyMMs.com!
Have you seen these personalized M&M’s yet??? I LOVE them! And it’s so easy to make your own! You just go to the My M&M’s website, upload your photos and add text to your favorite colored M&M’s and they ship them right to your front door! I made some for Ella with her favorite friend, her dog – Daisy! You should have seen Ella’s face when they arrived at our front door!
I then added some fun labels that I stamped with the letter “E” and added the M&M’s to little clear bags to hand out to the girls as Thank-You gifts. They loved them!
I would say that this was a one of a kind goodie bag for sure! They were so cute, I almost didn’t want to eat them. ALMOST! haha!
Of course, I couldn’t get Ella her own personalized M&M’s without getting my other two kid’s, Andrew and Sydney, their own fun M&M’s!
I just had to get Andrew his school colors personalized with his favorite sport, football, plus his face on some!
And, Sydney got her very own with her sweet little smile, flowers and her name. She loved them, too!
Making memories by making your own M&M’s is so easy and fun! You have got to try it yourself! Here’s another fun way to make memories by using MY M&M’s at at Gender Reveal Party like the mama in this video did. I got all teary watching it!
