I just love making homemade gifts! Whether it’s a cute holiday craft or a yummy food or even an indulgent sugar scrub, I think that when you make a gift for someone, it shows you really put some thought into it.
Here’s a fun gift idea! This year I’m putting together some adorable “Ugly Sweater” holiday gift jars that are full of Hershey’s Kisses! YUM!
How to Make Merry Kissmas Gift Jars
The Hershey Company continues to create ways to make the season more festive, and its seasonal products exclusively sold at Walmart are must-haves for your holiday occasions. Whether you’re throwing an ugly sweater bash or snuggled up on the couch, Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Sweater Chocolates in any candy dish are sure to keep you warm with delight and they’re sold exclusively at Walmart.
The Hershey Company is offering several festive treats at Walmart this holiday season that will inspire new ways to deck the halls and trim the tree, including limited-edition “ugly sweater” foils on the classic Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates, a three-pound Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar, giant Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates and a one-pound Reese’s Peanut Butter Santa, allowing you to make your season extra-merry.
To make this fun gift idea, I picked up some $1 and $3 jars with lids at the store. There are always a lot of cute selections of jars this time of year since everyone likes to make desserts in jars and other fun gift ideas! I like the glass jars but you can find plastic, too!
Then, all you need to do is add Hershey’s Kisses Kissmas Sweater Chocolates and holiday string or ribbon to the lid of the jars to make them extra festive. You can usually find some fun string in the same aisle as the jars or at any craft store for about $1!
Once you add some cute string, don’t forget to add a label. This one says “Happy Kissmass”! How adorable is that?!!
These Ugly Sweater Hershey’s Kisses are so fun! I am pretty sure I eat just as many as I add to the jars. They just taste better when they’re festive, right??!!
Hershey’s Kisses are one of my favorites! They bring back so many memories of being little! Remember making Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies with them when you were little? I can’t have one now without having flashbacks of making them with my mom around Christmas time each year. Now I make them with my own kids. It’s a tradition that I am sure we’ll always have in our family.
AND right now you can find Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Miniatures in holiday foils. Ooooo…I love them too! It’s no wonder they say you gain weight over the holidays. There is just so much good food to eat!
Here’s a tip…replace the Hersey’s Kisses with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Miniatures on your Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies. Now, that’s a winning cookie! You can also add them to these cute jars for a fun gift!
Making your own gifts and giving them to those that mean a lot to you is a great thing this holiday season!
Add these fun”Ugly Sweater” holiday jars that are full of Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates to your holiday gift idea list this year! Celebrate with Hershey’s this year!
