I am so excited to plan Ella’s 6th Birthday – A Pajama Party!
We have been scouring Pinterest and looking at websites and recipes and getting lots of great ideas for food, decorations, desserts and more! One thing that I knew that had to be at our party was Tissue Paper Pom-Poms! I just L.O.V.E. them! Lots and lots of them!

I knew that Martha Stewart had kits to make them that I had seen in Walmart and Michael’s but I had never thought to make them on my own, until my friend Carrie from A Sweet Spot: Home, told me that they were very easy to make! So, I pulled up some tutorials and got to work. They are amazingly easy and I’m hooked! I grabbed lots of tissue paper in lots of colors to match our theme and can’t wait to get started! (This tutorial on How To Make A Cupcake Wrapper Door Number also came from Ella’s party!)

They are fun and absolutely beautiful when hanging side by side. You can use them to decorate for a party or even in a child’s bedroom. I’ve seen them hanging over cribs and all over a little girl’s room. They are quite magical!

Here’s a link to my step-by-step directions for making your very own Tissue Paper Poms for your for your next party or decorating project!
