Growing up, I would always look forward to our yearly vacations where we would drive eight hours to the closest beach to our home. One of the best memories I have of that time was looking forward to stopping along the way to sight see and eat at restaurants that we didn’t have close to home. My favorite restaurant and stop was always Cracker Barrel. Do you remember when they didn’t have one in every state? I sure do! It was a special treat to get to stop along our route and eat some home cooked food and shop in the Country Store in the restaurant! It was so much fun to me as a kid and it still is now!
Thankfully, now we have one just down the road and it’s a special treat to take my kids there whenever we get a chance. I never have to worry about that kids not eating their meals, because it is always gone! From fluffy pancakes to bacon and eggs, our entire family loves to eat there! I also love that it looks the same as it did as when I was a kid. There’s those big rocking chairs on the front porch when you walk up and inside. I remember rocking away on those as a kid while waiting to hear our named called for our table. They even have the giant checker boards and games at the table that I played when I was little. The whole experience to Cracker Barrel takes me back to my life long ago!
What you may not know about Cracker Barrel is that they offer fresh made food always! You can bet you’re getting a meal made just for you when you walk in the door. That’s a plus for any restaurant! They also have something for everyone on the menu from kids to adults. Breakfast items include eggs and bacon, pancakes, muffins, and yogurt and more! And for lunch and dinner you can enjoy fresh salads, sandwiches, and hearty country fixings! The hardest part of eating at a Cracker Barrel is
deciding what to eat! 
You know what else I love is Cracker Barrel’s Retail Store! There are so many fun products inside! I love the vintage candy, pantry staples, toys, decor and more! I wish I could just go in and do my entire Christmas shopping in there. So many cute things! There’s even personal care items like lotions and soaps! A trip to Cracker Barrel is just like a trip down memory lane for me! I love it! Did you go there as a child? What about now with your kids?
