All-purpose flour Butter Sugar Chopped pecans Brown sugar All-purpose flour Salt Dark corn syrup Eggs Vanilla extract Coarsely chopped pecans


Combine the flour, butter, and sugar. Beat at medium speed until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Fold in the pecans.


Press the shortbread mixture into the bottom of the baking pan, then bake for 18-22 minutes or until the edges are a light golden brown.


Combine the brown sugar, flour, and salt. Pour in the corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla, and stir well. Fold in the chopped pecans. Spread this mixture over the crust.
