Crispy chewy chocolate chip cookies are a recipe that you’re going to want to keep in your back pocket.

All-purpose flour Baking soda Salt Unsalted butter Brown sugar White sugar

Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. Cream the melted butter and the sugars together until light and fluffy. Add in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk, and continue to mix until smooth.

Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Working slowly, combine the dry ingredients into the bowl of wet ingredients. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Form the cookie dough into balls about 1 teaspoon in size.

Bake for about 15 minutes. Then cool before digging in!
