- 1 package crescent rolls thawed
- 8 oz breakfast sausage
- 1 cup shredded hash browns thawed
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 5 large eggs
- ¼ cup whole milk
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp parmesan cheese grated
Preheat the oven to 375F. Grease a small sheet pan. For a deeper crust, grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Fry the sausage in a large saute pan until browned. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
Unpack the rolls and, using your hands, work the dough to cover the whole pan or dish taking care not to create any holes.
Spoon the sausage evenly over the dough followed by the potatoes.
Sprinkle the cheese over the sausage and potatoes.
In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese and whisk to combine and pour over the dough.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the eggs are set.
Seal the dough well: Make sure to pinch any seams or holes in the crescent dough so the egg mixture doesn’t leak through.
Whisk eggs thoroughly: This ensures a smooth, even texture without streaks of egg white.
Don’t skip greasing the pan: This helps prevent sticking and makes serving much easier.
Let it rest before slicing: Giving it a few minutes to cool helps everything set properly.
