- 1 box yellow cake mix
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- 2 eggs
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350ºF and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
In a large bowl, stir the cake mix, butter and eggs. The mix will be thick but still smooth.

Press the cake mix into the greased pan, pushing it evenly across the bottom of the dish. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla together until smooth. Be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl to incorporate all the cream cheese bits.
8 ounces cream cheese, 4 cups powdered sugar, 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Spread the cream cheese mix over the top of the cake in the pan. Make sure it is nice and even.
Bake the cream cheese bars for 35 minutes. The top will be shiny and golden brown.
Let the bars cool down with extra powdered sugar dusted on top. Slice and enjoy!
