Mixed Berry Cobbler with Cake Mix

This mixed berry cobbler with cake mix only uses four ingredients to create a fruity filling and crumbly topping for a delicious dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound mixed berries
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 box (15.25 ounces) yellow cake mix
  • 2 cups Sprite

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9x13 baking pan.
  • Add the frozen mixed berries to the baking pan and spread them into an even, flat layer in the bottom of the pan.

  • Sprinkle the brown sugar over the mixed berries.
    1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Sprinkle the cake mix over the berries, sprinkling the dry mix as evenly as possible over the whole baking dish.
    1 box (15.25 ounces) yellow cake mix
  • Pour the sprite over the entire pan, wetting all the cake mix.
    2 cups Sprite
  • Bake the cake for 45 minutes. The top will be browned and the berries will be bubbling around the edges.
  • Scoop and serve while warm.

Notes

You can actually use any kind of frozen fruit to make this recipe. Frozen cherries, blueberries or peaches all work well.
