Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are filled with ground beef, gooey cheese, peppers, and onion. Easy Philly Cheesesteak sliders are perfect for a game day snack.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 white onion diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper seeded and diced
  • 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Separate the tops and bottoms of your rolls and place the bottoms in an 13" x 9" baking dish.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add onions, peppers and garlic and cook until slightly softened.
  • Add ground chuck and brown until no longer pink.
  • Drain excess grease.
  • Add Worcestershire, salt and pepper.
  • Simmer for 10 mintues.
  • Add the meat mixture evenly on the buns in the baking dish.
  • Add the mayonnaise to the underside of the top buns.
  • Place the slices of provolone cheese over the mixture and add the tops of the rolls.
  • Combine the melted butter and garlic powder in a small bowl. Brush the tops of the bread with the butter mixture.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then remove foil and continue baking for another 10 minutes (or until cheese is melted).
  • Cut and serve.
