Red Velvet Waffles

Red velvet waffles are the perfect Christmas or Valentine’s Day breakfast. They are rich, sweet, and surprisingly beautiful! 

Bisquick mix Cocoa powder Brown sugar Buttermilk Whole milk Red gel food coloring Egg Melted butter Vanilla extract Cream cheese Powdered sugar

INGREDIENTS

Beat cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the whole milk and vanilla and stir until smooth.

Whisk the Bisquick with brown sugar and cocoa powder. Add the buttermilk, whole milk, egg, vanilla, melted butter, and red food coloring.

Pour waffle batter into a hot pre-heated waffle iron and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Remove the waffle from the waffle iron and drizzle it with some cream cheese icing.

Enjoy the red velvet waffle while it is still hot!

It only takes about 5 minutes to make the batter and then you can sit back and wait while the waffle machine does all the work!
