This copycat Popeyes Biscuit Recipe uses less than ten simple ingredients to create buttery, flaky biscuits that are even better than the original!

They’re light and flaky with that classic buttery flavor and added moist texture thanks to the buttermilk.

2 teaspoons salt 2 cups flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup cold, unsalted butter 3/4 cup buttermilk 3 tablespoons melted butter

INGREDIENTS

Whisk the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Cut the butter into the mixture. Stir in the buttermilk.

1

Transfer the biscuit dough to a floured surface. Turn the dough and use your hands to knead it 2-3 times. Pat the dough until it is 1/2 inch thick.

2

Use a 4-inch biscuit cutter to cut the dough into six biscuits. Bake for 13-14 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the biscuits are puffed up.

3

Brush the tops of your Popeyes biscuits with the melted butter, and enjoy warm!

4

Waking up to the smell of freshly baked buttery biscuits is the best way to start the day!
