Granulated sugar Unsalted butter Full-fat sour cream Egg Cake flour Baking powder Baking soda Kosher salt
Unsalted butter Vanilla extract Powdered sugar Heavy cream Food coloring Sprinkles
Beat sour cream, butter, sugar until light, fluffy and pale in color. Beat in the egg and vanilla.

Whisk cake flour with baking soda, baking powder and salt. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix and chill.

Scoop dough and roll it into balls. Place the balls of dough on the prepared sheet pan.

Dip the bottom of a glass in cake flour and gently press the top of each dough ball to flatten.

Bake the Lofthouse cookies until just set and the bottoms begin to lightly brown- 8-9 mintutes. Cool on a wire rack.

Cream butter and vanilla. Slowly add the powdered sugar and salt. Once the mixture is smooth and creamy, add the heavy cream.

Add food coloring until the frosting is the color you want.

Frost the cookies once cooled. Top with sprinkles before the frosting sets.
