Homemade Banana Pudding

This classic homemade banana pudding is perfect for summer parties and backyard barbecues.

Nilla wafer cookies Bananas Sugar Flour Salt Whole milk Vanilla Eggs

INGREDIENTS

Layer the bottom of an 8x8 pan with Nilla wafers, then layer sliced bananas on top. Whisk the flour, sugar, and salt together, then the milk. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs to break them up.

Bring the milk mixture to a boil mixing often. Temper the eggs, then combine with the milk mixture. Cook for 2 minutes, whisking constantly.

Pour half of the pudding over the Nilla wafers and bananas, then top the pudding with another layer of Nilla wafers and bananas. Add the remaining pudding and smooth.

Refrigerator for about 4 hours. Sprinkle some chopped wafers over the top of the pudding before scooping and serving.
