This Sausage Breakfast Casserole has buttery crescent rolls, sausage, eggs, and plenty of cheddar cheese for a crowd-pleasing brunch recipe.

On the surface, it looks like a standard breakfast casserole, but once you cut into it, everyone will be wowed by the layer of crescent roll dough at the bottom.


Crescent roll dough Mild breakfast sausage Eggs Half and half Salt Pepper Shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat your oven to 350ºF and coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.


Brown the sausage in a skillet, then drain off the grease. Place the crescent roll dough in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.


Top the dough with the sausage, then add the eggs beaten with the half and half, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the cheese over the top of the sausage breakfast casserole.


Place the casserole dish in the oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the edges of the casserole are golden brown.
