Chocolate Chip Waffles

All-purpose flour Brown sugar Baking powder Baking soda Kosher salt Eggs Buttermilk Unsalted butter Chocolate chips

INGREDIENTS

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk the eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients and stir together until just combined. Let the batter rest for 10 to 15 minutes.

Preheat your waffle iron for about 6 to 7 minutes, depending on the model. It may also be necessary to use a small amount of nonstick spray.

Fold the chocolate chips into the batter.

Cook waffles until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
