Whisk the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add egg, milk, and melted butter to the dry ingredients.
Over medium-high heat, vegetable oil or butter. When it’s hot, add batter to the center.
Cook the pancake until bubbles form on the surface and the edges are dry, then flip the pancake and continue cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes on the opposite side.
Plate the pancakes and add your favorite toppings!
