Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake

This Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake Recipe features a light, crumbly shortcake, fresh strawberries, and sweet whipped cream. 

For The Strawberries: 4 cups strawberries 1/4 cup granulated sugar For the Shortcake: 6 tablespoons sugar 2 1/2 cups Bisquick mix 1/2 cup milk 2 tablespoons sugar 3 tablespoons melted butter Whipped cream


Combine the strawberries and 1/4 cup of sugar in a large bowl. Cover, and chill in the fridge. Add the Bisquick, milk, sugar, and butter in a bowl, and mix until a soft dough forms. Dollop six spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared cookie sheet, and sprinkle sugar on top.


Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Split the warm biscuits in half. Top half of the biscuits with the strawberries and whipped cream, including some of the juices from the berries. Enjoy!
