This apple cobbler recipe is an old-fashioned dessert perfect for fall.

With tender apples, cozy fall spices, and a biscuit-like topping, all that’s missing is a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!

INGREDIENTS FOR FILLING

Granny Smith apples Lemon Unsalted butter Granulated sugar Cinnamon Ground nutmeg Kosher salt Vanilla extract All-purpose flour Ground ginger

Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a mixing bowl.

2

Cut in the butter with a pastry blender, two forks until the consistency is of coarse crumbs. Slowly stir in the milk a little at a time to moisten the dough.
