Apple     Dumplings

These apple dumplings combine tart apples with buttery pastry and a secret ingredient of Mountain Dew to make a melt-in-your-mouth bite.

These apple dumplings take everything you love about the fall and stuff them into one tasty treat. 

INGREDIENTS

Granny Smith apples Crescent dough Unsalted butter Brown sugar Vanilla extract Cinnamon Pinch of salt Mountain Dew

Cut the apples and roll each slice into the crescent roll. Place the rolled apples into the baking dish.

Melt butter then add sugar and stir until combined. Add in the vanilla, cinnamon, salt and fully mix to combine. Remove from the heat and pour on top of the apple rolls. Add in the soda all around the edges of the baking dish.

Bake the apples for 30-40 minutes, or until the apple tools start to look crispy and golden brown on top.

Serve while still warm and top with vanilla ice cream and extra sauce from the baking dish.
