How to Roast Frozen Broccoli

Equipment

  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Large bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen broccoli
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • other seasonings optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place in the oven while it heats.
  • In a large bowl, drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the florets and sprinkle with salt or seasonings of choice. Toss and stir the florets in the oil and salt until they are evenly coated.
    1 pound frozen broccoli, 2 Tablespoons olive oil, salt, other seasonings
  • When the oven is ready, carefully remove the baking sheet and spread out the frozen, unthawed, broccoli florets, leaving a good amount of room in between them.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 15-20 minutes. Check at 15 minutes, then stir the broccoli and place back in the oven. Roast for about 5 more minutes, until the broccoli is tender and lightly browned.
  • Remove from the oven and serve.
