1 Large Baking Sheet
1 Mixing bowl
1 Cooling Rack
- 1 box (15.25 ounces) Funfetti cake mix
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- Sprinkles for topping
Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a large bowl, add the Funfetti cake mix, oil, and eggs. Mix until combined and fluffy. Chill in your fridge for 15-30 minutes to allow your dough to chill. This makes it easier to form the cookies.
1 box, 1/3 cup oil, 2 eggs
With a medium cookie scoop, add cookie dough onto the baking sheet and roll in sprinkles.
Sprinkles for topping
Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are lightly brown.
Remove cookies from the oven and allow them to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet and then transfer to a wire rack to continue cooling.
- Chill the dough first: Cake mix cookie dough can be sticky, and chilling makes it much easier to handle.
- Don’t overbake: The cookies should still look slightly soft in the center when you remove them from the oven.
- Use parchment paper: This helps prevent sticking and keeps cleanup easy.
- Add extra sprinkles on top: Press a few extra sprinkles onto the dough balls before baking for a prettier look.
- Use a cookie scoop: This helps all the cookies bake evenly.
- Let the cookies cool completely: They continue setting as they cool.
