Blonde Brownies

Ingredients

  • cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 3 eggs room temperature
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped, optional
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Add nonstick cooking spray to a 9X13-inch baking pan.
  • Add the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Mix.

  • Add the brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to a mixing bowl and whisk until combined.

  • Add the bowl of dry ingredients to the bowl of wet ingredients and stir. This should make a wet batter that is thick in texture.
  • Stir in the walnuts and white chocolate chips.

  • Pour the brownie batter into the baking pan and spread so that the batter is evenly dispersed.
  • Put the brownie pan in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Let the brownies cool in the pan. Cut and serve!

Notes

You can scoop the batter into a prepared muffin tin to make brownie cups.
